For more than 15 years, Michael Benford has helped elevate brand awareness for professional sports and entertainment organizations around the country. After graduating, he landed a position as a graphic designer at Ignite Sports, where he contributed to the design and maintenance of 13 NFL team websites, including the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants. In 2002 he joined the Falcons as their first in-house designer and rose through the ranks to become the organization’s manager of creative services in 2007. As a photographer, Michael has traveled to countries like Cuba and China to hone his craft and indulge his love of visual storytelling. For several years, he was the creative director of Arthur M. Blank Sports and Entertainment, the rebranded parent company of the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United FC, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium, overseeing a team of creative professionals working to advance and execute initiatives for the organization and its brands. Michael is currently the Director of Brand Development for the U.S. Soccer Federation.
